CPSSQ Database Home
This database has been developed using data compiled in a literature review of measures of patient safety. The review was carried out by Carmen Tsang at the Imperial Centre for Patient Safety and Service Quality. Reference material about patient safety projects, adverse events and measures of patient safety are available here. This is not an exhaustive library nor is it a definitive guide to patient safety. We hope that the database will facilitate knowledge in the area of patient safety in healthcare and that it will be used as a reference tool by those who are interested in safety improvement.
Original spellings have been used wherever possible. However, there will inevitably be some variations between English and American spellings. If searching in Authors, Organisations, or Projects fails to produce the result that you are looking for, try using the browse function instead.
Currently only data on research in secondary care is online. The database will be updated with research from primary and ambulatory care later in 2009.
We very much welcome your recommendations for additional patient safety measures to be included in the database. If you notice details that need amending or have any other comments about the database please let us know. You can email Carmen at c.tsang@imperial.ac.uk.
